I would like to request rollback powers be reinstated. They were stripped earlier under false pretenses that I was using them to edit war when I was acting under good faith and the belief that I was reverting vandalism. If you look at my history of reversions you will see that I use rollback to patrol recent changes and have fixed dozens of vandalized articles. I would like to have rollback again so that I made continue with this work. --Xander756 (talk) 05:57, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

 Not done The tool has just been removed and edits like this [1] are excatly when rollback should not be used. I suggest you use undo for vandalism for the time being, and remember to discuss changes on talk pages rathern than just reverting them. Pedro :  Chat  07:44, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

I have been working for Wikipedia for a little while now, but I am not a heavy user, more of a part time user. The rollback feature would just help me remove vandalism faster when I see it. I admit I am still new to some things at Wikipedia (if you deny me for this reason I will not hold it against you) but I feel I am comfortable enough to handle the rollback feature.
