Participants start on one page, say 'Banana' and agree to race to another, lets say 'Astronaut'. The goal is to reach astronaut from banana without using the search bar. So, for example, if one was on banana, they could click on the link and go to United States; then to Washington, D.C.; then to United States Congress; then to 2007; then to then to 20th century; then to 1960's; then to Neil Armstrong; then to Astronaut. That was a relatively simple Wiki Race.
There are some rules to the Wiki Race:

Golden Rule number one: A competitor in a Wiki Race cannot search any topic while in a race. This means in the search bar, or using the 'search' box on your browser.

Golden Rule number two: Any link can be clicked on. Any blue word can be clicked on.

Golden Rule number three: Be creative! A race is more fun and more successful if the players click randomly rather than on a pre-meditated plan.
