OSS Logo

That is the official OSS Logo. The OSS Society logo is different, I've seen their website. The logo in this article is also on government websites as the official logo, as seen here [1]. TheQuandry (talk) 21:46, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

You are incorrect. Both logos are registered trademarks of The OSS Society. Neither was ever an official government seal and they are not public domain. If you do not believe me, check the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The two OSS logos are trademarks owned by The OSS Society. Neither image was ever the official US Government logo for the OSS and they are not public domain. Check the US Patent and Trademark Office for verification using the following registration and serial numbers: 78751687/ 3246412; 78641357/3191429

I contacted the OSS Society and they said the logo is NOT owned by them. This is confirmed by Mr. Pinck, the gentleman in charge of trademarks for the OSS Society, who confirmed both logos are not owned by the OSS Society, just used with permission.

I also took the liberty of calling TD International, for which this IP is registered to and they are looking into who is using this IP address currently as you obviously aren't doing your job. I would get back to work if I were you. - NeutralHomer • Talk 20:36, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
