Needs a locator map showing position within Alaska. -- Beland 06:00, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conservation

What does it mean: there is "no evidence" of "quantifiable" adverse impact on the beluga population? Are there 1) no scientific studies on the subject or 2) does a study exist, which does not result in clear evidence? In the first case this sentence does not give any further information. --Olaf g 12:48, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nuti

What does "Nuti" in the first sentence mean? I grew up on Cook Inlet and am nearing 60 years of age and I have never heard that word. At a minimum, it should be defined in the article for those who have not heard the word. I personally suggest deleting it, or moving it to another part of the article where the word can be explained. wleman (talk) 19:40, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

estuary

I question whether Cook Inlet is actually an estuary as stated in the first sentence. It is an inlet. An estuary is not as large or deep or open to the ocean as an inlet, as far as I know. wleman (talk) 19:44, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
