I have noticed that part of Wikipedia's permeable symbolism and invasive culture is the insistence on reverting people's own Talk page during conversations who may seek to obscure or eliminate what amounts to objectionable speech or tone against them. In response to this, i will reduce to essentials what i deem important communication and remove what i deem unnecessarily harsh tone and terms from any who add it to this Talk page as a symbol of individual sovereignty and the setting of appropriate psycho-social boundaries.-- self-ref (nagasiva yronwode) (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

:* Thanks for helping me fix 'Cultural Struggle....'. I set about contacting others to give me methods to fix and thought that i had to get an admin to delete. then i had operating system problems and had to give up until this evening. I am not aware of what you mean by 'move' here or how to do that. I am only now trying to learn to archive. perhaps you can point me to the proper data about moving pages to which you are referring?-- self-ref (nagasiva yronwode) (talk) 02:47, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

::"Proper data about moving pages". ...what data do you need? {notice the} "move" tab at the top of every page? ...try clicking on it - there is another stage before any edits are actually done. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 04:48, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

:::no, i have only occasionally noticed the 'move' tab and never knew what it meant. I'll watch for it and see how it might apply. it sounds like you are saying that this is the proper means of moving a page (by using a 'move' tab). thanks.

Revision/Editing Policy for This Page

I have noticed that part of Wikipedia's permeable symbolism and invasive culture is the insistence on reverting people's own Talk page during conversations who may seek to obscure or eliminate what amounts to objectionable speech or tone against them. In response to this, i will reduce to essentials what i deem important communication and remove what i deem unnecessarily harsh tone and terms from any who add it to this Talk page as a symbol of individual sovereignty and the setting of appropriate psycho-social boundaries.-- self-ref (nagasiva yronwode) (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adjusting This Talk Page

We prefer it if you do not delete comments from your talk page, especially not from an active thread. RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 04:48, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Understood. I have become aware of this but seldom had the pleasure of having it enforced on my Talk page. Thank you for pointing out your preferences. See the newly-stated Talk Page Policy installed above. :)-- self-ref (nagasiva yronwode) (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Struggle

...You could have moved Cultural Struggle Surrounding Esoteric Topics in Wikipedia to User talk:Self-ref/Struggle yourself and then marked the article in the main namespace with db-author. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 20:41, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
