The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a [[WP:FU|claim of fair use]]. Barnstar

Flibirigit, in honour of all your helpful work on the Project: Ice Hockey and articles surrounding ice hockey, please accept this barnstar. BoojiBoy 18:03, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Lauren hertel

Ummm... I agree with you it is very borderline, searching "Lauren Hertel" brings up 1,220 hits on google though so I dunno. It also really, really badly needs a clean-up. I would put it up for AFD and if its worthy to stay it will be consensussed(?) to stay. Croat Canuck Say hello or just talk 21:56, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to argue that this individual is not notable, though again, it is close. It definitely reads like an autobiography though. Needs a lot of work to become a real article, imnsho. Resolute 22:12, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahah, thanks a lot ! I'm not used to barnstars, as it is something that is not really in use on fr: ! I really appreciate it... Thanks ! NicDumZ ~ 10:15, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moved Page

Just to let you know. I moved your template from User Flibirigit/template to User:Flibirigit/template and nominated the original page for speedy deletion.  – ukexpat (talk) 18:41, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 18:57, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

I see you quite a bit reverting vandalism, and I thought the rollback feature would be of use to you. It used to be admin-only, but it's now open to almost anyone. It is much more efficient way to revert vandalism, and shouldn't be used when a more detailed edit summary is needed. If you wish for me to remove it, just say so and I'll do it. Maxim(talk) 14:01, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IIHF

I've gone through and added the template to all the pages that exist for member nations (full members, that is). The hard part is going to be creating pages for all the members that don't have pages. We have to upload the logo, create the page, make sure the colors match, etc. That's definitely not going to be pretty, but it has to be done. Anthony Hit me up... 15:48, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Richmond Hill Rams

Hey... how's it going? The alumni section you added to the Richmond Hill Rams article is actually for the old Rams... they are in the North York Rangers article. DMighton (talk) 10:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you are dealing with some OUA teams... if you get the chance to slide over to the Ice Hockey Wiki... I have their league standings since 1970. DMighton (talk) 20:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OHL Playoffs

Hey dude, thanks for your help on the edits of the OHL Playoffs. I was wondering if you have the time if you could help me put up the tables for the conference semi-finals. All dates are still TBA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thetoast84 (talkcontribs)

Nindaywama

Nope. YOU appear to be promulgating an edit war because of YOUR biased POV. If anyone needs blocking, you do. I'd love to, but I don't have the power. Try blocking yourself instead of threatening me. If you want arbitration YOU request it, or otherwise leave alone. As it stands I still have a lot of work to do on that article - some of todays edits DO require inline references and as soon as I work out how best to do them they'll get them. But in the meantime I really suggest you stick to hockey. And just remember you were the one who amended MY posts first three times. As it stands, your apparent threat to ban/block me brings into the question of Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?. How does Wiki handle that? 81.86.230.16 (talk) 01:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: User:Abacuss

Sure no problem. He would've realised he was blocked if he tried editing a page, so the notice isn't absolutely necessary. Spellcast (talk) 20:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IHL

In Talk:International Hockey League (2007–) I stated my case, cited sources and now noone is participating in the debate. Where should I go from here? Acronjsmith (talk) 16:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sometimes editors just get busy, or have a lack of interest or lack of knowledge on the subject. You might want to go to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ice Hockey and remind editors to leave a comment. Failing which, you might try Wikipedia:Third opinion or Wikipedia:Editor assistance. I'd like to see it resolved also, but I have no preference to the outcome. Flibirigit (talk) 01:24, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Swedish Rookie of the Year

I am hoping you would be able to write a stub for Årets Rookie. It is the only red link on Template:Elitserien. I don't have any sources for it. Let me know if you can find any. Flibirigit (talk) 17:42, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was hoping that too, but haven't got around to it (some things I set out to do never get done). Today I saw a source in English on the Daniel Larsson page. At least it is rather accurate, despite it is a borderline forum/blog entry. The background info about the award is a bit harder to come by. So far I have only seen that in Swedish, most recently here (no English page despite they attempt to be available in English). For example, there are facts to be found there about how much cash the alma mater hockey club of the player gets (the Swedish term is "moderklubb"), which people the jury has been made up of this year, and the short fact note that appears on Elitserien about which the awarding bodies are. There are also short wiki articles Swedish, French, and German. --Bamsefar75 (talk) 08:13, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The source on the Daniel Larsson page looks good enough. Perhaps someone at Swedish interwiki might know of other sources? Flibirigit (talk) 10:57, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
