Semi-protection
In light of the numerous edits made by non-registered users, I've semi-protected the page to counter the endless unsourced additions, naming potential replacement judges for Osbourne. As Wikipedia is not a medium for gossip or conjecture, these edits cannot be accommodated. The page can be unprotected once the fourth judge has been officially confirmed, which should be sometime later this week :) Wiki edit Jonny (talk) 16:28, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Cheryl Cole confirmed!

From ITV themselves. I would add this to the article but I don't know how to add references so I was hoping someone else could do it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.6.240 (talk) 18:43, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Done :) Wiki edit Jonny (talk) 20:12, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Format section needed
This article is wholly without an overview of what the show is actually about. I don't actually know myself, but someone should definitely add a description to the top that doesn't assume you're already familiar with the show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.228.191.181 (talk) 05:29, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Finalists
What's the source on the finalists?--86.137.84.153 (talk) 11:12, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Unconfirmed
This article needs nearly an entire re-write to remove all of the unconfirmed speculation. I've done what I can but it's been reverted. This is an encyclopedia, not a news article and there is no room for unsourced opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.137.84.153 (talk) 19:46, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Ratings
I think that a table is needed, there are many episodes left this series, live performances and results. It will end up looking messy, a table would be much easier to read. 81.96.131.189 (talk) 23:45, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Girlband
I'm pretty sure Phoebe Lau from this band is older than 17. 18 or 19, I believe —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.109.145.150 (talk) 18:39, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Sing-off and Songs
The acts in the sing off should be noted in addition to the eliminated act. Also I guess the second songs should be added to the data per show as they are different to the songs that are performed in the first show. Not going to add them in because I don't know what format people want to use. I believe the two songs were "thats what friends are for" and "wonderwall" in case anyone forgets. - Yeah, I tried to add them in as well, but apparently there's someone who doesn't want them. Can we please come to a compromise? 81.102.178.53 (talk) 12:00, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- I think it was better when there where two tables, but someone removed one and the information to the other table, which looks messy.81.96.131.189 (talk) 14:28, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
"Visits to judges' houses" round
The article says:
- As in previous years, the judges welcomed the 6 acts from their selected category to their 'home'...
I could be wrong about this, but I don't recall it being claimed in the shows that the places they visited were actually the judges' homes. Have they dropped that pretence now that the cat's out of the bag? (Like we all didn't guess anyway....!)
