The Northern Lights is a train which runs daily between London King's Cross and Aberdeen via Newcastle, Edinburgh Waverley and Dundee in both directions.

It is currently operated by National Express East Coast and leaves King's Cross at 1030 (11000 on Sundays) and Aberdeen at 0950 (0948 on Sundays). The journey takes around 7 hours.
