Jon Tomlinson, (born January 9, 1973), is WilliamsF1 a Formula One team, Chief Aerodynamicist. Tomlinson's department design and test a range of components for the WilliamsF1 cars in two on site wind tunnels. One can accomodate a full size car.

Career

In 1995 he was appointed a design Engineer for Hanford Racing Services Ltd for one year. Until 1998, he became an Aerodynamicist for Swift Engineering Ltd., in California. He became Chief Aerodynamicist for Precision Preparation Inc., also in California, until 2000. He entered Formula One with Jordan as Senior Aerodynamicist till 2002 when Renault F1 snapped him up as Deputy Head of Aerodynamics. Then WilliamsF1 hired him as Head of Aerodynamics or Chief Aerodynamicist in November 2006. [1]
