Baillie Gifford is an independently owned investment management firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
History
The firm was established by Augustus Baillie and Carlyle Gifford as a legal partnership in 1908.[2]
Operations
The firm's assets under management were circa £43 billion as at 30 June 2009.[2]
