Template:Expert-subject-multiple Giacomo Grimaldi was an Italian historian and Vatican archivist who lived in the early 1700's.[1] His primary known works deal with the Roman Catholic Church. Several Papal tombs that were destroyed with the rebuilding of Saint Peter's Basilica are only saved through illustrations by Grimaldi.[2]
