MicroEMACS is a small emacs implementation originally written by Dave Conroy and further developed and maintained by Daniel Lawrence, which exists in many variations. Many relationships to vi can also be found in MicroEMACS. One such varient being MicroGNUEmacs, which spawned mg, a further stripped-down editor.
MicroEMACS is the text editor used by Linus Torvalds.
