Josef Vavroušek (born September 15, 1944, in Prague, Czechoslovakia – March 18, 1995, Slovakia) was a Czech environmentalist and politician.
Vavroušek was a co-founder of Civic Forum (1989) and the first minister of the environment of Czechoslovakia (1990 - 1992). He coordinated (with Bedřich Moldan) the translation of Limits to Growth into the Czech language.
