The Jiulong River or Jiulong Jiang (simplified Chinese: 九龙江; traditional Chinese: 九龍江; pinyin: Jiǔlóng Jiāng) is the largest river in southern Fujian, and the second largest in the province. Like all Fujian rivers but one, it flows into the Taiwan Strait.
With a length of 258 km and a basin of 14,700 km², its furthest origin—the north branch beixi (北溪)-- is within the municipality of Longyan; the west branch xixi (西溪), almost as long, flows from Zhangzhou's Pinghe County.
