Samuel Taylor Darling (born April 6 1872, Harrison, New Jersey; died May 21 1925, Beirut) was an American pathologist and bacteriologist who discovered the pathogen Histoplasma capsulatum in 1906.[1] He died in Beirut in a car crash.[2][3]
