Benedetta Bianchi Porro (8 August 1936 – 23 January 1964) was a Christian blessed, born in Dovadola, Romagna.

She became ill with polio during her teens.

In October 1953, at the age of 17, she enrolled in medical school in Milan to realize her dream of helping others.

Benedetta fell victim to the rare Von Recklinghausen's disease, which quickly leaves sufferers blind and deaf. She was forced by her illness to leave medical school. She succumbed on January 23, 1964.

In December 1993, the Roman Catholic Church declared her a venerable person.
