Revision as of 12:15, 27 May 2006

Anything that is a given should be in this part of Wikipedia. The greatest challenge is to add the non specific, non fact parts. I would like to see someone with the knowledge add to the respective years: - Solar cycles, these are givens - Lunar cycles, these are givens - Terra (the earth) cycles, these are givens - Expected/predicted weather patterns like El Ninio - Expiery of copyrights of various artists, these are givens as of current copyright law - Financial data, expiery of government bonds, savings etc. - Demographics, there is knowledge in demographics but its is a huge challenge how to present it as verifyable facts - Ambitions, more on declared ambitions from various governments, companies, NGO's etc. - Scientific predictions, mapping the human genome was one - what are the next scientific challenges comming up ahead? - Longbets beeing placed by bookmakers with links - Wired magazines long bets with a description of them - Construction jobs and contracts that have been awarded, also demolitions jobs predicted like demolition of Norwegian oil plattforms. - City planning, maps, predictions etc.

I would like to see a general discussion on what can be predicted, how it can be predicted and how to put these predictions into a coherent system where they build on each other.
