Deepti Omchery Bhalla, a unique artist from India versatile in both singing and dancing. Inherited her musical legacy from her mother Sr. (Smt) Leela Omchery, a well-known carnatic signer. [1] Deepti Omchery Bhalla is a leading exponent of Mohiniyattam, a classical dance form from Kerala, India. She learnt Mohiniattam, the female classical solo dance from the great exponent Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma. The artiste is presently Professor in Carnatic Music at the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi [2]
