Trends in Food Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed review journal covering product development issues in the science and the technology related to food production. It is an official publication of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology and of the International Union of Food Science and Technology. As of 2007, its editor-in-chief is Paul Finglas (Institute of Food Research). According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2009 impact factor of 4.051, ranking it second out of 118 journals in the category "Food Science & Technology".[1]
