  - Comment I just went and read WP:VAIN and while it says this kind of thing is "strongly discouraged", I think there's room for it to stay. It says that such articles are sent to AfD, where we are, and that "usually" they are deleted. Doesn't say it has to be deleted. It seems that there's been enough input from other editors, including a general cleanup, that this is now a community-produced article, even if it was started by the subject originally.
