== bad speedy deletion ==

Why did you delete [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Undelete&target=Muhammed_Yunus&timestamp=20061013091627 this page] instead of making it a redirect? The version you deleted was was clearly a misguided attempt to creating a redirect. It would have taken just as long to fix it as it would have to delete it. The fallout from this is that Vanderbilt University just sent out a press release about Muhammad Yunus winning the Nobel Peace Prize, except they misspelled it "Muhammed Yunus". Muhammed Yunus is the malformed redirect that you deleted instead of fixing. So all of the people who have been trying to pull up the article get a page saying that Wikipedia doesn't have an article on Muhammed Yunus. [[User:Kaldari|Kaldari]] 19:52, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

My entry to Wikipedia

What an absurd message. Knee jerk reaction to something before you are aware of the facts. I have not edited the article since I was (politely, which is more than can be said of you) asked to remove it to the Wikibooks section, as I was unaware at the time that recipes were not allowed on Wikipedia itself. I suggest you be a little more friendly to people who have no interest whatsoever in vandalism, rather only to further the spirit of Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterkirchem (talkcontribs)

Thank you

Thank you for the prompt reversion of my user page. Keep up the good work!--Andeh 23:00, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One revert is better than no revert, and two "thank you's" is better than one! I believe so anyway. :) --Andeh 19:57, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good job!

Keep up the good work! Don't forget to relax! :D --CableModem 11:07, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your warning to User talk:64.12.117.14

You noticed that's an AOL IP? He's definitely made two idiotic edits this morning...but all of the other edits for that IP are probably not the same guy. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 17:20, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Total agreement, he's clearly acting like an idiot. But the 'despite previous warnings' part might not make sense to him if this is a new idiot. (Ongoing problem with AOL IPs.) -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 17:26, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, looks like you got his attention. Look further up that talk page to the warnings about Weis Markets -- I had to request semi-protection for that page because it was constantly attacked from various AOL IPs...and we can't indef block an AOL IP. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 17:38, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on Kappa Epsilon! RedRollerskate 22:01, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain why

You deleted an article about 15 seconds into my starting to add content to it?--BozMo talk 09:26, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. Given I'd put a {{hangon}} on it and am a pretty well established contributer I think that you might have waited (especially as WP is running pretty unreliably at the moment and you lose info if you hang around for long).--BozMo talk 09:36, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
