The so-called Jock series albums is a superseries of sports music albums that was started by Tommy Boy records circa 1994. The debut release of Jock Rock has started a generation of albums named "Jock X volume X", however there was a spinoff album of the series entitled Slam Jams abeit omission of the word "Jock".
