Unspecified source for Image:Horthy the regent.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Horthy the regent.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 22:25, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mecsek picture

Hi Lajos, i have uploaded your picture Image:Mecsek hungary 1.jpg to the wikimedia commons. The image here on en: is already tagged as "nowcommons". Since i don't speak hungarian, i don't know if there are similar procedures on hu:. Maybe you can take a look? so long --Zinnmann 11:01, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. It seems (to me, please note) there aren't. In fact, I don't work so much in hu:. Anyway, I added a line noting the picture is avaliable in commons. See you! -- Cserlajos 16:29, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Hungarian literature

Hi. I started to improve Template:Hungarian literature. I would be glad if you could check my new version. At the moment, there are two important improvements: 1. abc order (because of npov issues), 2. an extra feature: random picture (daily; see the source)

Lelkesa 19:18, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ABC order is rightly right, not only because of npov issues - it is rather logical. Random pictures are pretty interesting. And, all in all, the new version is more fair, somehow. But, I have to warn you, this template is highly subjective. Maybe I not added all the important authors, but added those who really does not matter. It was also criticized on its talk page because of this. A more sensible solution would be to focus on the periods of literature (I mean, to summarize an era in a separate article, and the non-important authors should be listed here.) And the Greats of the time should stay in the template. The new template what I imagine, roughly:
Time Period Important
authors
File:Eady.jpg
Endre Ady, poet
Before 1000 Origins (none)
1000-1430 Literature in Latin

The emerging Hungarian literature

authors of the time
1918- Realism

style2 of the era
...

Endre Ady, György Faludy, etc.
It is not too hard to improve this into a template, but there is a problem: there are no articles to link with the periods I have given. So, a lot of typing is in our way if we want to tell the readers about Hungarian literature in English. Until we don't have enough text, the template should be kept in its current form (i.e. with your already done improvements), but then... What's your opinion? -- Cserlajos (talk) (contribs) 13:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I think that the template is OK. NPOV doesn't mean that we cannot differentiate between more and less important poets, writers. However, consensus is needed, of course. If we want to be more objective, maybe those authors could be regarded as important who one needs to know to take a maturity exam (érettségi).
I'm proud of random pictures, the OHLM alone is a bit boring:)

Érettségi (maybe equivalent with final exam ??) - this definition seems to be okay. Cserlajos (talk) (contribs) 19:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
