Dardan Democratic League (Lidhja Demokratike e Dardanisë) was formed by Nexhat Daci. It is the newest political party in Kosovo. LDD is formed after a conflict shown in Democratic League of Kosovo (Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës -LDK- ) 1 year after the death of the first and former president of Kosovo, Ibrahim Rugova, who was the head of LDK.

History

After Ibrahim Rugova's death, LDK was left without a leader for a whole year. And on the Decemeber 2006-January 2007 period there were held elections inside LDK, where Fatmir Sejdiu (president), won. So Nexhat Daci together with his supportives formed a new political party with, of course, Nexhat Daci as the leader.
