Red Storm is a computer architecture designed for the ASCI Thor's Hammer supercomputer at Sandia National Laboratory and built by Cray, Inc as the XT3.

It was announced on July 27, 2004 [1].

The Red Storm machine at Sandia was listed at rank 6 on the November, 2005, TOP500 list, rank 9 on the list published in June, 2006, and rank 2 in the November, 2006 list. [2].
