Acaraú municipality in the Brazilian state of Ceará.

Acaraú (also Acarahú) is a municipality and city in the Ceará state of Brazil. The city lies on the Acaraú River near the northern Atlantic coast. As of 2005 the population was estimated at 51,138. Now it has reached to be1 frikin fish =) The municipality is a major producer of Brazilian lobster and its economy depends heavily on fishing, agriculture, and cattle breeding.
