[http://www.thedarts.24ex.com link title] The Darts Bio: In the summer of 2004, Marck K wanted to be in a band. After several attempts, Marck gave up looking for a band and decided to form his own. Marck started asking friends and his first follower was Matt B, Marcks friend who played guitar. Matt also started asking for other people and eventually ended up with finding that his brother Mitch B was going to start playing bass guitar. After several attempts of not finding a good bass guitar, Mitch started playing drums. The three practiced as a trio until they found a bassist. Jon A was the fourth one to join The Darts, and the last of the original line up. The band practiced as a four some and eventually came up with their first gig, at a Holloween party. As it turns out, they played three songs and left early due to the poor audience that didn't want the band to play punk rock. The band kept going for a few more months with the original line up before Jon put down his bass and said that was the end of his bass career. The band was back to square one with the pre original three member trio. The band went this way for six more months before finding a new bassist , Matt and Mitch's cousin Zak B. The line up now is Marck, on guitar, Matt , also on guitar, Zak on bass, and Mitch on drums. The band is gaining popularity and hopes to get a demo cd out soon, and hopefully get a record deal before Matt goes to college. As of Winter 2007, the band has officially been going strong for Two and a half years, and of October 2006, it has been the Two Year Anniversary of the original gig. YEAH who doesn't love the darts? ************** The Darts are a Rock band from the middle of Wisconsin, consisting of members who are all still in high school. The band has released several demo songs and hopes to become an impact in Rock and Roll. The band is still playing with the current members: Marck K - Guitar/Vocals Matt B - Guitar Zak B - Bass Mitch B - Drums Matt, Zak, and Mitch are all related, Zak being Matt and Mitch's cousin, and Matt and Mitch being brothers, this helped the band form relativly quick. The band is always looking for more shows to play and for a chance to get their music heard, so contact the band for booking info. ***************
