  • Where did the "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit" for good luck come from?

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit

According to Chick's numerous "On Air" statements, this saying was an old family good luck saying which was said on the first day of the month. Lmcelhiney 23:56, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to show comments, Chick is buying a new home. It made me think of prose by Theodore Geisel; "And 'way, 'way past Z is a letter called ITCH, and the ITCH is for Itch-a-pods, animals which, race around back and forth, forth and back, through the air on a very high sidewalk between HERE and THERE. They're afraid to stay THERE. They're afraid to stay HERE. They think THERE is too FAR. They think HERE is too NEAR. And since HERE is too NEAR and out THERE is too FAR, they are too scared to roost where-so-ever they are." Jccox58 18:40, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Minor correction Lmcelhiney 19:33, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to say that I'm delighted about the added quote from Caroline Rhea and to affirm that indeed, her statement is right on the money! Jccox58 21:11, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep! Lmcelhiney 01:57, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Information from the past several broadcasts make Chick appear to be more of a monkey on leash then a husband in a marriage. Wonder if his choker matches the dogs?Zendiana 20:07, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unattributed Information.

Removed the reference to Real Name Leonard Allen Gilley awaiting objective evidence.

Removed "His mother chewed her toenails in front of him," as on-air statement without verification and appropriateness of comment.
