License tagging for Image:Mika001.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Mika001.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your contribution to "I Want Candy"

I initiated that article, so I check up on it from time to time. I like Mel C and I even like her version, but I was a bit frustrated to see the article become more of an advertisement that an encyclopedia article. The Mel C content seemed legitimate, but it also made the article seem more about Mel C than about the song itself, so I've been wanting to do what you did, but I never got around to it, so thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by EEpolymath (talkcontribs) 03:25, 26 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

spice girls album covers?

Do you happen to know the source or where on the internet you found these images (or did you scan the images/ yourself)? Otherwise, eventually one of the image bots will probably put the no source tag on them and have them removed. I went ahead and put the fair use rationale on all of the single covers.--Kolrobie 01:30, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
