A batch of "satirical photoshops" by CartoonDiablo
With one or two exceptions all of these are at least in part derived from various other unatributed copyrighted works, as such they are copyvios. A couple are derived from public domain artworks but I list those as well on the grounds that they are not ensyclopedic and that Wikipedia is not a suitable place to host a gallery of satitical works. - Keep the images that do not contain any copyrighted material, since they are harmless userspace content. Delete the others. Incidentally, it's probably not accurate to refer to the images as "copyvios," since under U.S. law they clearly constitute satire/parody and are therefore fair use. - Keep. These images do not fail criterion #8 because they are used to "identify the subject of an article." Even if there is no caption right next to the image, the images are part of the article as a whole, and they are needed so that readers of the article can see what the video game actually looks like. The entire article, in this sense, serves as "critical commentary" on the images. Furthermore, the fair use rationale provided on the uploads is sound; displaying three screenshots in no way impairs the value of the copyright holder's work. - Keep - Gig poster of band that has now split up, used to depict both the band and the deceased frontman. The poster does a perfect job of depicting both using an image which was created with promotional purposes in mind. Also the poster itself is notable, the gig in question is a show at Los Angeles biggest gothic rock club; Helter Skelter... the show was recorded and released officially as a DVD by Cleopatra Records. - Daddy Kindsoul 19:07, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
