Guy Stair Sainty is a writer on royal genealogy and heraldry and he has written several books.

Family

He is the son of Mrs. Christopher Lawrence Sainty of London and the late Mr. Sainty. He is the grandson of the late Arthur Stair, founder of Stair & Company, which sold art in Manhattan and London, and a great-grandson of Edwin Cade, founder of the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation, which operated gold mines in Ghana.[1]

Education

He attended the Westminster School in London and the University of Rome and graduated from the College of Law in London.

He and Rafal Heydel-Mankoo are the author of World Orders of Knighthood & Merit.
