No More Landmines – freeing communities from the legacy of war.

The Landmine Issue

Imagine living in constant fear of hidden weapons. Communities affected by landmines and other unexploded weapons do every day. They cannot farm their land, send their children to school or access clean water for fear of injury or even death.

Unexploded weapons do not recognise ceasefires or peace treaties and they do not distinguish between a soldier and a child. They kill and maim innocent people long after wars have ended and impede communities struggling to recover from conflict.

NML Mission Statement

No More Landmines helps and empowers communities around the world by removing the threat of landmines and unexploded weapons. We also provide support for survivors of landmine accidents to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.

The Impact of Deming

There is great progress being made. Since 2000 15 countries have seen an end to landmine accidents. Our work has enabled countless communities to regain their livelihoods and we have helped to provide a better future for many thousands of the estimated half a million landmine accident survivors.
