Greetings!
My name is Ryan, and it's my pleasure to welcome you, Markio, to Wikipedia! First of all, I'd like to thank you for joining the project, and contributing to articles and discussion. I hope you can continue to take part in Wikipedia, because we need more valuable editors like yourself.

I hope you enjoy editing here, and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, find out where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Before I go, here's one more tip. When you post on talk pages, be sure to sign your name and the date by typing four tildes: ~~~~. That automatically generates your username and the date. Again, welcome, and happy editing!  --King of All the Franks 23:41, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do believe I must object to your edits of the page "Dragon Ball Z: Collectable Card Game". Your edits simply involve changing the name "Baby" to "Bebi", despite two things: 1. All characters are listed by the name shown on the card. Thus, Mr. Satan is Hercule, Freeza is Frieza, et cetera. 2. The characters' name IS Baby. Bebi is just the Japanese phonetic pronounciation of it. The S

Street Fighter

I apologize. I will correct the following for problems post-haste.

  1. I will remove the animated GIFs and replace them with stationary ones.
  2. I will replace the images without copyrights or source with the ones I have with both neccesary information (this includes, but not limited to Blanka, Ibuki, and Akuma).

Again I apologize. Criticism is always appreciated. — Markio 12:22, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Street Fighter gifs

Thanks for joining wikipedia. It seems you have a interest in the Street Fighter articles, although I must inquire why you replacing moving gifs with still ones. It is preferable to utilize still gifs over moving one as it unnessarily infringes upon page loading time and server strain. Could you remove the gifs in any other articles you've made additions to...? Thanks, and see my on my talkpage if you have any qualms. -ZeroTalk 10:15, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Blanka.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Blanka.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 21:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SNK Pics

Don't use SNK pics for Capcom Characters, it creates confusion. T-1000 23:10, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Vegeta Final Flash.jpg

The image Image:Vegeta Final Flash.jpg is lacking a fair use rationale. Please add it whenever you have some time to fulfill the fair use tenth guideline. Thank you! -- ReyBrujo 19:45, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the source should be as exact as possible. Thus, when indicating source please provide two links, one to the page that has the image, and another to the image itself. -- ReyBrujo 19:45, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This also applies to Image:Vegeta Big Bang Attack.jpg. -- ReyBrujo 19:47, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:TechnoMotion arcade machine (perspective view).jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:TechnoMotion arcade machine (perspective view).jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ×Meegs 19:16, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link. I do want to update and I'll probably get around to it in the next week or so, when I get to it. To be honest this list isn't really my area of interest but I seem to have inherited maintenance of it since people reverted my redirect and opined against my AfD and then conveniently disappeared without making any effort to clean it up. If it is going to exist though I'd like to see it be comprehensive.--Isotope23 17:37, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Flamebird (Kara Zor-El).jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Flamebird (Kara Zor-El).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
