My Girlfriend is a song by the Christian rock band Relient K. It was released on their self-titled first album, Relient K. The song is about Marilyn Manson eating Matt Thiessen's girlfriend. Thiessen has said that he wrote it because a female friend turned from Christian music to Marilyn Manson, and in that way, Marilyn Manson ate his friend. The song was retired from being performed live in 2002. The song originally appeared as "Marilyn Manson Ate My Girlfriend" on the band's demo album, All Work and No Play.

Music Video

The music video for the song was the very first one released by the band. In it, the guys of Relient K must rescue "The Girlfriend" from inside of Marilyn Manson. This includes searching all of his organs, which are all behind doors inside a creepy hall. In the end, they rescue her after Matt Thiessen defeats Marilyn Manson in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is their least-known video, and some fans do not even know that they made one for this song. The scenes in the video also feature the band playing the song in a bright green room. This was the only music video by the band to feature drummer Stephen Cushman, and the only one not to feature the band's current drummer, Dave Douglas. The video has around 118,000 viewings on YouTube.com.[1]
