Could I have your rationale for your deletions? I am sure you can delete half of the clinical professors of medicine, but if you do, you should not drop someone like Reppun. Meanwhile, if you take out one IEEE Fellow, you should remove the other. If you want to reduce the length of lists, then there are stronger criteria that ought to be applied to the athletes, the military people, and the artists. That is of course the problem. The criteria I have been using are consistent, and I can explain them and post them if you like. It actually seems like your deletion of some of these people was an editing error. My criteria for listing professors is that they should be at a major research university or top-10 college, or they should have something otherwise distinctive, such as helping to found a professional society. I don't see how you can leave a Professor at Williams and remove the Chair of Radiation Oncology at UCSD. That must have been an edit in some haste. Truth be told, martha.md is not such a big deal. But with medical people, since they do not achieve much notoriety, e.g., wiki pages, on their own, their affiliations and their numerosity are part of what is notable. A senior professor who has worked with the medical school here found my MD/PhD list very good. I'll wait a few days to hear from you before moving forward. I am only in the G's in the alumni directory, so I will be having quite a few more people to add. I am sure that at that point, stricter criteria will be needed and will quite easily be applied.
