Chinese history articles

Not sure if John Smith's will ever give it up, but please keep a watch on Xia Dynasty, Shang Dynasty, and Han Dynasty. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 20:24, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rashi picture

I know, I don't understand it either. Yes, the image is probably public domain but without evidence how can we know for sure. I hope the closing admin will decide based on (lack off) evidence. Or even better, maybe someone finally gives proof the images is PD. Garion96 (talk) 21:27, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pfew, it's gone. Although I do hope it will return (this time with a valid source) I am glad for now it is gone. That was an almost surreal discussion. Which I now have had two times, see User talk:Garion96/Archive 7#Rashi picture. Garion96 (talk) 19:58, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since you are the only one to comment (and apparently the creator of at least one of the articles), would you care to perform the merge? Pairadox 02:16, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to take your total lack of response as a NO. Pairadox 06:51, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

I love the look on your user page now, great picture! I see you've been busy. Once again, I want to say thank you for helping me out with Society of the Song Dynasty. Remember, I still owe you one. If there's any article you need help with, and you know that I can help with it, do drop me a message on my user page. See you around, partner.--Pericles of AthensTalk 03:02, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Negrito page lacking

I'm interested about what you said on the Negrito talk page about Arab merchants going to china accompanied by negrito slaves. I've rearranged the page and added a few paragraphs on their origins but the article could really do with more info. I officially invite you to add some. --Matt Oid 13:01, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal blocked

I blocked the vandal for a month. If you could list the IP numbers you identify with this syndrome, I'll whip up an abusing multiple accounts label for tagging when we whack these moles. Cheers, --Fire Star 火星 21:23, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll set the others and any new ones up as sockpuppets of the first. Once that pattern is established, we can offer the list as evidence to seek a range block, if possible. --Fire Star 火星 22:17, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Will do, thanks for sharing.--Pericles of AthensTalk 02:23, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Baduanjin

Thanks for formatting the list of pieces, looks much better. I was just wondering, would you prefer the current version or this edit for the lead image? I don't really have a preference, but I had to edit it so it would be visible for a DYK. VanTucky Talk 02:32, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A new reference?

I came across a reference to this book in my travels (trying to find sources for Zhanmadao) - and thought of you. :)

Thanks for the response. Could you post what you just told me on the article's talk page, as well? It would be easier for me to discuss it there. It would also allow future editors to see discussion about the article. Wrad 03:07, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Of course I know that they are different people, but how can you say that Zhou Tong can only be redirected to Zhou Tong (Water Margin) and cannot refer to Zhou Tong (archer)? I changed that redirect page to disambiguation page do distinguish Zhou Tong (Water Margin) and Zhou Tong (archer). --Neo-Jay 08:05, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that there is disambiguation info at the top of Zhou Tong (archer). If Zhou Tong is still a redirect page, then it is equally right or equally wrong to redirect it to Zhou Tong (Water Margin) or Zhou Tong (archer). The reason why I changed the redirect is, as I mentioned in the edit summary, that I thought Zhou Tong was more often referred to Zhou Tong (archer). A good reason that you can reverted should be that Zhou Tong (Water Margin) is the primary meaning for Zhou Tong (see Wikipedia:Disambiguation). But you only said that archer Zhou Tong and the Water Margin Zhou Tong are different people. This is not a good reason to revert. I have changed Template:Water Margin characters to link Zhou Tong directly to Zhou Tong (Water Margin). --Neo-Jay 08:57, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
