User talk:HiParentals

User is using this page for chat purposes unrelated to wikipedia. They have also made no edits outside of their userspace. I've left a couple of notes about improper use of talk pages, but they are simply removed and nothing changes. I understand that guidelines for user talk pages are a little lax, but this does seem to fail WP:UP#NOT ARendedWinter 06:04, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I was waiting to see how this user acted after being notified of the policy (they removed that message) and being alerted to the MfD (they removed the notice). This says to me that they are in denial of the purpose of WP and will continue to use the talk page to communicate with one another until their access is denied. Therefore, I believe an MfD is inappropriate because I believe they will only recreate the talk page and continue communicating; if the page is deleted then we will not be able to see the page history. I believe if they use the page for socializing for free one more time, they should be brought tho the attention of Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents and a block be requested.--12 Noon 16:20, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Wikipedia is not a chat service. If this user persists in using Wikipedia as a forum then a block may be justified, especially as they seem to have no interest in contributing to the encyclopedia. Hut 8.5 18:34, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
