Merging

This article should be merged or at least cleaned up in respect to the seemingly duplicate Hilux page —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.87.70.91 (talk) 23:40, 21 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

THis article needs a major overhaul. I hurt my head reading it. i tried to fix some of it, but it needs to be re-done from scratch by someone who knows this truck better then I. Actually, after reviewing the above person's comment, i agree, it should be merged. And so it was done :)

and what's with the huge list of dimensions? --MacMan2626 08:38, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I looked for bed length but did not find it.

Distributorless ignition

Toyota started putting these into the Tacoma in '98. This is the second time I've corrected it on this page, and someone keeps putting it back. My first Tacoma, which was a '98, used a distributorless ignition. It came from the factory that way. Primium mobile 01:28, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: Okay, I was mistaken. DIS was standard beginning in '97, not '98. In any case, it was definitely not 2000. -- Primium mobile (talk) 18:14, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

HalfPint 12 12 Edit

You may own a Toyota Truck with a model year prior to '95, but it is not a Tacoma. It may look very similar to a Tacoma, but that's not what it is. Look here: http://www.edmunds.com/toyota/tacoma/history.html Primium mobile (talk) 01:56, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
