Template:Hangon Anagarika Munindra (1914-2003) was a Bengali vipassana meditation teacher, who taught many notable Western teachers including Joseph Goldstein and Surya Das. He was the head monk of Mahabodhi Temple at Bodh Gaya after teaching many years in Burma, where, for some time, he was a student of Mahasi Sayadaw.
