J. Evan Bonifant (born August 19, 1985) is an American actor. As a child actor, he played small parts on television shows and starred in several films. His most notable role was that of ten-year-old Buster Blues in Blues Brothers 2000. Many feel his role in Blue Brothers 2000 negatively affected the overall feel of the movie, resulting in poor reviews and low box-office take-in. He was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 1995 for his role in ''3 Ninjas Kick Back''. As of 2007, Bonifant portrays the role of Jerko Phoenix in the Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place."
