Wildstorm Updates

I have to give you both thanks and respect for your many updates and creations of wildstorm articles, you've done an amazing job expanding alot of articles. Midusunknown 22:51, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I'm pretty new here too so I can sympathize. However if you see an article that needs a start, feel free to start it. I mean worst case scenario it gets edited and changed, but atleast the start of the article will draw attention to the subject rather than lots of "oh, someone else who knows the subject better will start it". I suggest also just stealing basic templates like the superherobox and comic stub to start alot of articles. As for wildstorm, yeah I'm also hoping our work gains some new readers, especially with all the upcoming fun from lee, morrison, ennis, caldwell, etc. this fall, because I sure do miss these characters. Midusunknown 23:25, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I.O.

Damn man! that was a great job, theres practically nothing I can think to add under I.O. that isnt already there. Amazing job on that page, I'll see if i can come up with some of the other facts you said you were missing through, I have pretty much every wildstorm universe comic...I just havent got to reading alot of them (I worked in a comic shop in my teens and got a TON of WS comics well there, but so many i still havent got through them all). If you know what issue the info is in I can likely look it up for you. Midusunknown 07:02, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made a redirect to the page for you at International Operations, that way its easier to search.Midusunknown 07:10, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Once again I have to commend you. You honestly amaze me with the details you add in the articles, the bliss page especially. If you hadn't already recieved the comic star I'd have to give you it a couple times over now, you've more then earned it. Midusunknown 13:39, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

award time!

I award this Comics Star to Dizzy D for your great efforts on and contributions to comics related articles.

You deserve it. :D--KrossTalk 00:31, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tawkerbot2 and the reversion of your edit(s)

Hello, Dizzy D. You may have noticed User:Tawkerbot2 reverted one or more of your edits and perhaps left a message on your talk page. Wikipedia recently experienced a database malfunction, causing Tawkerbot2 to misidentify legitimate edits; hence the reversion of your edit(s) and the message. The bot has been temporarily disabled until the problems are rectified. Thanks. —Wayward Talk 16:49, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I noticed, I left a messgae, but the one also seemed to disappear, so I figured that it was a database problem. Thanks for the heads-up. Dizzy D 18:12, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Helavess.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Helavess.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ares2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ares2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:11, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
