Charlie Evans currently serves as the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. As president and CEO of the Chicago Fed, he is a member of the FOMC -- the Federal Open Market Committee. The FOMC formulates national monetary policy under the leadership of Chairman Ben Bernanke.
