Infobox CVG image size

Hi. I notice you've been doing a ton of excellent work lately with video game articles, infoboxes, images, etc. Huge thanks for your contributions! Just one small thing: it was agreed upon awhile ago that the image size within Infobox CVG should be 256px rather than 250px; 250 tends to leave slight irregularities in buffer space symmetry which annoy some of us anal-retentive types ;) It's in the guidelines here: [1] And if you're really curious, see a demonstrative image here: [2]

Ideally, it would be great if you could find the time to go back to the places where you added a 250px image or changed a 256 to 250 and correct them. If it's just too much of a hassle, I understand, but the more you take care of the better of course :)

Again, huge thanks for all the great work you've done! --Ecksemmess 08:55, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response and the help -- I'm sure I'll pick up the ones you miss. Keep up the excellent contributions! --Ecksemmess 11:22, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article redirected

Hi. I've changed your article on Frankie and Johnny (Elvis Presley album) to a redirect to Frankie and Johnny (1966 film)#Soundtrack because it wasn't a new release, but simply a reissue of an album from a decade earlier which is already discussed in the larger article. 23skidoo 13:22, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, thanks for the notice. Salavat 14:14, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. When I have time I'm going to do some sorting out of things like the album template and the categories because there are albums that aren't listed that should be, etc. and I can see how a duplicated article can be created (I spotted something similar with the Burning Love album article, which was also doubled up.) I've got a few releases I'd like to add, but I'm waiting till I sort the rest out (unless someone beats me to it). BTW I kept your infobox for Frankie and Johnny and just moved it over, with the image you uploaded. 23skidoo 14:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeh i noticed you moved the infobox. Good luck in sorting, the whole article is pretty messed up. Salavat 14:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've left you a response on my talk page. --MrStalker talk 15:04, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your questions and observations have been moved to our Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/GeneralForum and I have responded there. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:38, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been tagged by someone as needing more notability info - and also in-universe style - you might like to respond by improving it in those ways. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:52, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed that you have recently reverted my edit for the Bon Voyage cover. The reason for the change has been discussed here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Sims_2:_Bon_Voyage#Consistent_covers

It is best if we have consistency with the cover art as it minimizes confusion for readers.

--Funnykidrian (talk) 07:21, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply! I admit that it is my bad for not including a relevant edit summary - I will make sure to do so in the future. As for the size of the cover, it is resized to 256px in the actual article, while the actual .jpg file is only slightly larger than that. Almost all of the other expansion pack/stuff pack cover .jpg files are also slight larger than 256px so I feel that there is no real need to resize the file. If you, for some reason, feel that there is absolute need for a resize, please feel free to do so or contact me. :) --Funnykidrian (talk) 07:00, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tetris Evolution

Plan to down the line, though if you plan on updating the article yourself give me a shout and I'll undo the redirect. The main issue is that a lot of the mainstream Tetris game articles are bare bones but bulking up that link template too :\--Kung Fu Man (talk) 13:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Feist Series Template

From the Wikipedia:Redirect page you pointed out:

Exceptions:

  • It is preferable to change redirected links in navigational templates, such as those found at the bottom of many articles (e.g. {{USPresidents}} on George W. Bush). In this case, when the template is placed on an article, and contains a direct link to that article (not a redirect), the direct link will display in bold (and not as a link), making it easier to navigate through a series of articles using the template.

Since "Template:Raymond E. Feist's series" is a navigational template, this is specifically the type of thing which the page says should not have a redirect. Shsilver (talk) 13:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
