Rally refers to a gathering, as in

  • a long-distance non-competitive "race" or passage-in-company for cruising boats
  • a political rally, a demonstration, march, or parade

Rally as a sports term can also refer to:

  • Rallying (also known as rally racing), a category of motorsport
  • Rally, a sequence of shots in tennis
  • Rally obedience (also rally-O), a dog sport
  • In some team sports, a burst of scoring maneuvers by the trailing team is sometimes known as a rally, especially late in the game.
  • Rally point system is the system of scoring points in volleyball.
