Micromagic or close-up magic is magic performed in an intimate setting usually no more than ten-feet (three-meters) distance from one's audience and is usually performed while sitting across a table.

The vast majority of magicians around the world are close-up magicians.

The two principle forms of micromagic are card tricks and coin tricks.
