Chesapeake Bay Magazine is a monthly lifestyle magazine focused on boating and leisure in the Mid-Atlantic region. Articles include such topics as "Cruise of the Month[1]" and boating destinations[2]. Fishing, water sports, and sailing are also highlighted. Spotlights and boat reviews feature various types of boats such as Sport Yacht Cruisers, Center Consoles, and Classics & Customs. Showcase sections provide information on marinas[3], restaurants, and marine services.

The magazine is based in Annapolis, Maryland and has a sister publication, Northeast Boating Magazine, based in Quincy, Massachusetts. CBM also produces an annual Cruise Guide[4], an Intracoastal Waterway Facilities Guide, and operates Waterfronthome.net, a website focused on East Coast waterfront real estate.

Chesapeake Bay Magazine is a member of the International Regional Magazine Association[5].
