The Keating Hotel is a small, 35 room luxury hotel located in the heart of the Gaslamp District of downtown San Diego, California. Located at 432 F St., the original building was constructed in 1890 and today it hosts the oldest running elevator in San Diego. Designed by Pininfarina and opened in 2007, the Keating Hotel is one of the growing Gaslamp District's newest contributing hotels and club, with a restaurant named the Merk scheduled to open later in the summer of 2008.
