Language of the 'Bamasaba' or 'Bagisu' tribe of eastern Uganda. A member of the Bantu family of languages.

Some basic phrases:

hello = mulembe
how are you = ur-re-ena? OR ute-en homeni?
fine = bulayi OR indiyo umulayi
my name is ---- = lisina yo-say -----
what is your name = lisina yo butty narnu?
