Namadhari

Many communities in Srilanka Bali was a popular legend. Bandari community of Maharashtra were also used to consider bali as diety in their festivel. Olden times Srilanka was also known Haledipa (in simhala). The people were called haledeevaru. They were warriors and expert in naval exercises. Many king from india emplyed them as Soldiers. Many costal indian kingdom had their naval service too.
