Green municipalism

Green municipalism refers to the encouragement of environmentalism from the municipal, rather than state basis.

It was most notably articulated by Brian Milani in his book, Designing the Green Economy (2000)[1]. It was also articulated by the Syracuse / Onondaga County Green Party Chapter at the National Green Gathering of August 1992[2].
